Asgeir fotographica/Ruth Wang Wedding Coordinator/Wedding Hair and Make-up

I am so excited to present these photos of Pooja. A fun part of Indian Weddings is all the color and jewels. Design Visage Lauren did amazing wedding hair and makeup

Wedding Makeup:

With all the color and jewels, Pooja was able to wear quite a smoky eye. Lauren of Design Visage used shades of burgundy, cream and gold. She lined Pooja’s eye with a black gel liner around the entire eye. She added a bit of glittery gold under the eye to frame the black liner and make it pop. Lauren added a Merlot color lipstick with a clear gloss and it’s perfect.

Wedding Hairstyle:

Lauren first did a part in front of Pooja’s hair to place the Tikka. Then she styled the rest back and created a soft intricate back hairstyle. It was elegant and clean, although very feminine. How Lauren created this was curling all of Pooja’s hair with a 1 inch iron and creating a base in the back of her head and styling all the hair into the base, very loose.

Rancho Las Lomas/Casey Larae Photography/Wedding Hair and Makeup

I love digital photos…...Design Visage did Heather’s wedding just over a week ago and the wonderful Casey Larae sent these amazing images of our stunning bride.

It does not hurt that Heather is beautiful and has an great sense of style. Paired with Design Visage Lauren…this is a hot look.

Wedding hairstyle:

Heather chose that ever so popular side style. Design Visage Lauren outdid herself on this one. First she curled all Heather’s hair with a 1 inch iron. She added some clip in hair extensions for fullness. She then created a base by putting part of Heather’s hair in a rubber band to the side. The final touches were adding the rest of the hair in loose pieces around the base, leaving lots of hair out and tousled.

Wedding Makeup:

Heather has that bold style and it shows in her choice of wedding makeup. Lauren helped Heather create a sexy smoky eye with shades of grey and gold, topping it off with red lips. Heather looks amazing.

As you know if you read our blog, Rancho Las Lomas is one of Design Visage‘s favorite wedding locations. Just look at all the photo opportunities, along with one of the most romantic settings in the O.C…..and you get to work with one of my favorite wedding peeps Nili of Rancho Las Lomas

Wedding Hair and Make-up/Amber Events/Design Visage

Erin and I connected by email for several months. She lives in Australia. When we finally met her, what a pleasure. She has such a unique style and her dress was amazing. We were so excited when she hired Design Visage for her bridal beauty.

Wedding hairstyle:

Design Visage Dana was Erin’s stylist and they created an amazing side hairstyle. Dana curled Erins’s hair and then wove it all together to the side…perfection

Wedding makeup:

Erin went with a natural eye and a bolder lip to go with the red accents in the dress and wedding flavor. Although Dana helped her choose a soft red that did not over power her face

This was quite a fun wedding and organized by our friend Amber of Amber Events.

Wedding Hair and Makeup/

Last summer we had the pleasure of meeting Amber and helping her and all her girls look fantastic on the wedding. It was beautifully coordinated by Sophia of Les Belles Affaires and we received the amazing photos from Visual Masterpiece. And of course with Design Visage stylist Georgia, Amber had a great team.

Wedding Make up: Amber chose a clean eyeshadow with creams and charcoal and thin black gel liner and loads of lashes. DV Georgia topped off the look with a soft pink blush and ice pink lips. With Amber’s dark hair it was a hit.

Wedding Hairstyle: Amber went with the sexy down do with one day extensions to add body and fullness to the total look. DV Georgia curled the extensions with a flat iron to give a natural beach curl. She then set Amber’s hair and let it cool to have her hair maintain the curl. The extensions were then clipped into Amber’s hairline, Georgia ran her hands through both the extensions and natural hair, and poof an amazing natural sexy down hairstyle that will last all day

Hair jewels are carefully secured and Amber is ready for one of the best days of her life

And I believe they had a great day.

Wedding Day Makeover TLC/Triple Cord Photography/Wedding 4 Africa

When I heard that Glenda was approved by TLC’s Wedding Day Makeover, I was so excited. When we started filming Wedding Day Makeover in April, I knew that I wanted to have this wedding on our show. Some time ago the incredible Annette Biggers of Triple Cord Photography organized Wedding 4 Africa. Design Visage was honored to participate in this amazing idea. This couple Glenda and Michael raised money for the children of Africa, and we the wedding vendors, donated our services for the wedding. The list of vendors that participated in this wedding were some of the best in the industry, and most importantly, people who came together for a larger purpose.

On to the wedding, a one of a kind fairy tale affair. Just take a look:

Glenda’s bridal hair:

Design Visage Lauren was Glenda’s stylist, and as always Lauren rocked the look. This updated Renaissence hairstyle with the beachy curl)

Lauren curled Glenda’s hair with a flat iron (which gives a natural beach curls) then added extensions for length
Lastly Lauren pulled in the Renaissance look with a few braids.

Bridal Makeup:

Lauren started with a smoky eye with eye liner around Glenda’s entire eye
Gold was applied on the lid
Lauren darkened Glenda’s brows with a brow shader two shades darker than her hair
Loads of lashes were created with two rows of individual lashes
A light lip and soft blush topped off the wedding makeup
