Spring wedding at The Ritz Laguna Niguel with Lin & Jirsa Photographers

This time of year we start to get photographs from our last years brides. We were pleasantly surprised when these arrived in the inbox. DV Ella had a great time creating this glamorous look for her bride. Lin & Jirsa Photographers were behind the scenes at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel.

Summertime in La Quinta with Lauren Hillary of Jim Kennedy Photographers

Our favorite new destination for weddings is the desert. Palm Springs, Palm Desert and La Quinta have some of the best wedding venues in Southern California. Our bride Jaquilee was actually from Texas and chose the La Quinta Golf Club for her big day. She was lucky to have the talented Lauren Hillary of Jim Kennedy Photographers with her capturing the sweet details from the perfect tea length dress to the bright pops of color.

The wedding colors were bright and fun reflecting the sweet personality of the bride and her family. What a fun day!

Artistic Vintage Wedding in San Juan Capistrano with Andre Niesing Photography

Love it when we get a last minute call from a bride and the result is absolutely gorgeous! Kristie called us a few days before her wedding and had a specific request for an artist that could give her a vintage look to match the vibe of her big day. Although all the DV artists can do this, DV Jen is partial to the makeup and hair from the 20′s-50′s. So Kristie was in luck when DV Jen was available for her on such short notice. Andre Niesing gave us so many great shots to share.

 

A birdcage veil is the perfect vintage accessory.

 Our brides are so unique and are never a copy of another. Each bride inspires us to create a beautiful new look.

Winter Wonderland at Talega Golf Club with Gini Garner and Jim Kennedy Photographers

Happy New Year! We do hundreds of weddings every year and each one is so special to us. It’s not everyday one of our fellow industry professionals ties the knot AND we have the opportunity to be part of the big day! We also got to enjoy the day with the awesome Gini Garner and talented Jim Kennedy. The couple had some photo fun at the St Regis before heading over to Talega Golf Club

Ashley and her husband are in entertainment business so she was not shy with the makeup but did want something timeless and DV Lauren acheived both. She really wanted to make a statement with her hair and DV Lauren did an amazing job.

 

  • A crease was created to open up her eye and make it brighter
  • Her green eyes were magnified by the lavenders and warm brown tones used with her shadow
  • Complimented with a contoured cheek 
  • Pretty pink lips – Tantalize Liner and Kiss Lipstick

 

DV Ella was on hand with DV Lauren for this extra fun bridal party!

This bridesmaid has great eyes and DV Ella made them pop!

Rancho Las Lomas/Casey Larae Photography/Wedding Hair and Makeup

I love digital photos…...Design Visage did Heather’s wedding  just over a week ago and the wonderful Casey Larae sent these amazing images of our stunning bride.

It does not hurt that Heather is beautiful and has an great sense of style. Paired with Design Visage Lauren…this is a hot look.

Wedding hairstyle:

Heather chose that ever so popular side style. Design Visage Lauren outdid herself on this one. First she curled all Heather’s hair with a 1 inch iron. She added some clip in hair extensions for fullness. She then created a base by putting part of Heather’s hair in a rubber band to the side. The final touches were adding the rest of the hair in loose pieces around the base, leaving lots of hair out and tousled.

Wedding Makeup:

Heather has that bold style and it shows in her choice of wedding makeup. Lauren helped Heather create a sexy smoky eye with shades of grey and gold, topping it off with red lips. Heather looks amazing.

As you know if you read our blog, Rancho Las Lomas is one of Design Visage‘s favorite wedding locations. Just look at all the photo opportunities, along with one of the most romantic settings in the O.C…..and you get to work with one of my favorite wedding peeps Nili of Rancho Las Lomas
