We are thankful!

This time of year we all start to think of the things in life we are thankful for. At the top of our list are the amazing women that make up the DV Team! These ladies make use proud to be in the business of making brides beautiful for their big day. Each DV artist has a unique personality and special gift they bring to the team. As individual as they are, our team is consistently awesome. We firmly believe there is no “I” in TEAM and we work together to provide an amazing experience for our brides.

 

To ALL our DV Divas (including those not pictured above)…

Each of you are kind, loving and passionate women. You are beyond talented and creative! You are incredible, mothers, teacher and friends.

Details Details at Pelican Hill with Jasmine Star

September on the Newport Coast is the perfect setting for a wedding at Pelican Hill. Details Details was behind this gorgeous day filled with rich purple & green florals and luxe linens from Wildflower. Jasmine Star captured amazing details like the glitter purple Louboutins and the Miss Dior perfume.

Of course…our favorite details are the beauty by DV Georgia!

Hair was set & pinned in sections giving a more natural look in front

Curls were pinned in the back so no ends were exposed

Hair accessory was secured to the side

Smokey mauve and purple shadows were used on the eyes

Individual false lashes open the eyes without looking too dramatic

Neutral pink lips

Pelican Hill provides the perfect backdrop for amazing photos

Every moment is coordinated perfectly by Details Details making for the most amazing day. Gorgeous hair and make up still looks fresh as she dances the night away!

Platinum Weddings by Kerrie/Ritz Carlton Dana Point/ Wedding Hair and Make-up

When Sarv called, I new immediately that Design Visage would have to be on the game.  She was a no muss no fuss kind of girl and knew exactly want she wanted, although was looking for just the right stylist to help her achieve her “look”.  Sarv arrived for her preview, computer in hand and power point presentation ready for Lauren. A few hours later Lauren and Sarv were good friends and most importantly Sarv looked stunning.

Sarv chose a classic wedding hairstyle. A swoop bang with very clean smooth updo. Since she is a classic beauty, I do believe she made the right choice.  Sarv’s dress and earring were so sparkly, she decided to add the bling to the back of the hairstyle.

Kerrie from Platinum Weddings by Kerrie definitely did just that, a “Platinum Wedding it was” .  The Ritz Carlton Dana Point was the setting.

For Sarv’s wedding makeup,  Design Visage Lauren did a classic eye, a warm contour pink highlights and lots of lashes.

Yes I believe stunning is the word to describe Sarv on her wedding day.

I love this part of a Persian Wedding, the honey exchange. From what I understand it is a symbol of starting your new life sweet. Let me know if I am wrong, or if there is more to it.

The new Pelican Hill venue did not disappoint. We waited a few years for it to open, and it is a beauty. Christine and …..chose Pelican Hill, along with a wonderful team of professionals: Kerrie Underhill of Platinum Weddings to coordinate, Victor Sizemore Photography, Elysium Productions for the movie, and yours truly Design Visage for the beauty.

I love technology, we are facebook freinds with all Christine’s vendors and Victor posted a shot even before Christine walked down the isle for all of us to see.
