Design Visage in Print….Ceremony Magazine

We have been so lucky to have had brides featured in every Ceremony Magazine the the past 8 or more years. We are fortunate to work with the top photographers, coordinators and locations. This wedding was in 07…but one to remember. Talia and Scott were married at the Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes. The Barnets captured the moments and Kimberly Bradford Events did her organization magic. Take a look at the article that was in Ceremony Magazine and also the photos that Joe and Mirta of Barnet Photography took. Talia was fun, you will see, is not afraid of make-up and she looks fantastic with dramatic eyes, she was very specific on how she wanted her hair and make-up. Great that the DV artist Georgia was able to work her magic. The Design Visage girls also beautified all the girlie’s in the wedding party….and there were quite a few, all all pretty I might say. It was a fun day.

This is my favorite shot…..love it.

a fool by his own.

You have to see this……Cake in the face!

Keeli and Chris did it….on April 4th at the Hyatt Huntington Beach….they tied the knot. Jill Watson did all the organization, Design Visage made all the girlies beautiful and R and R Creative Photography captured all the moments and I mean ALL the moments..you will get my drift when you look a little further. Take a look……

Adrienne was the fabulous Design Visage artist for Keeli. She did have help from Michelle to get all the girls and mom looking fantastic. Keeli chose to have a half up hairstyle with color on the eyes and lips. Yea…..

Anyone who reads my blogs or knows me……can see that I am all about the shoes. I think one day I will do a blog story on just brides shoes….what do you think?

Here is one of the most important persons of the day….MOM. Many moms are timid about having their hair and make-up done on the wedding day……If you have the correct artist/company, mom will look natural but better. And she needs to look good in all the photographs that will on the wall for the next 20 years!

So this is what you have been waiting to see….I have not seen this in many years. Keeli must be a very understanding girl…but wait the last photo is the groom throwing cake at the guests….David the photographer said the best man got it right in the face. Wow what a memory for the couple.

Looks like a good time was had by all

A marriage is a gift. It should be opened up and enjoyed.

Jenny and Bryan

Jenny came into our office without much hope. She had already gone to 3 other previews and had not been happy. Which is so foreign to Design Visage, we work with the bride on the preview until she is happy…well I guess that is why so few brides cancel after our preview. So Jenny saw a picture of a bride we had done on the Knot, and decided to give us a try.

On the preview the artist and Jenny tried a few different hairstyles. All up, all down and the final winner half up and half down. Just like trying on different styles of dresses, it is important to try your hair up and down to see what it best on you and how you want to see yourself in the pictures on your wall for the next 20 years. Many brides ask if it is necessary to have a preview, I suppose to save money. Well it is certainly possible, but to me a bit crazy. A wedding day is not the time to be deciding how you want your hair and make-up!

Jenny and Bryan were married at the beautiful Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar. Their photographer was Eric Slay. And most importantly, a few months after the wedding, Jenny came to Design Visage for a facial. We started talking and Design Visage hired Jenny to do our accessories site Bridalmode. Jenny is very talented and with much patience taught me much about technology. Check her out at Well-United ….I highly recommend her company. Thanks Jenny for letting Design Visage be a part of your wedding.

Casey and Kyle February 14th 2009

What a great personality! You can just see it in Casey’s face. She chose a very fun half up half down…but mostly down hairstyle with a little bump on the top. This is great when you have a beautiful headband as Casey did. The heigth helps to show off the sparkle and beauty.

Make-up choice was natural browns on the eyes…rosy blush with a bronzer, all topped off with a super copper lip gloss. It all added up to a natural sun touched bride!

Casey and Kyle were married at the lovely www.wilsoncreekwinery.com in Temecula. Kerrie Underhill mastered the coordination and Tony Florez photography captured the moments.

Heather, Casey’s hair and make-up artist told the sweetest story of the getting ready moments. Apparently Kyle sent Casey a mixed tape with all their special songs…but inbetween the songs Kyle recorded some wonderful words for her…..bravo Kyle.
