Featured on Style Me Pretty – Kate Spade Inspired Shoot

We had so much fun with this Kate Spade inspired shoot! Amazing design by Lindye Galloway, coordinated by LVL Events and shot by Jasmine Star at the Chuck Jones Center by 24 Carrots. Fun with color, patterns, texture and unique design elements to inspire a whimsical bride.

From the conception, Lindye had a vision for the brides hair and makeup by Design Visage.

LVL Events coordinated the dream team of professionals to bring the Kate Spade inspired shoot to life.

Creative elements by the genius Lindye Galloway Design & the cutest dress by Blush Bridal. Those groovy little vases are PVC pipe!

The Chuck Jones Center by 24 Carrots is a creative space that can be transformed into the wedding of your dreams.

Of course I know our DV Divas are amazing although I never tire of hearing it from others. From a quick email to a handwritten note, or a detailed review, our raving fans find a way to let us know how we made them feel.

I feel warm and fuzzy when I walk to the mailbox and find a hand addressed envelope inside. It may be a bride or even a planner that has been touched by our artistry and level of service that made a huge impact on their big day. 

There is still something special about a handwritten note.

I also LOVE opening my email inbox to find our brides photos along with an email about our artists.

And then there are our RAVE REVIEWS! It is so wonderful when the wedding is done and our artists have made such an impact on a brides big day that she tells it to the world. Our artists feel touched by their brides who let them know what a fantastic job they did and it also keeps them motivated to continue to provide an amazing service.

There is no other company that has the tremendous talent of our artists combined with their incomparable professionalism.

Memorial Day at the Ritz Carlton with Christine Bentley, Coordinator – The Pampered Bride

What a gorgeous day for a wedding on the coast of Southern California at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel with Christine Bentley Photgraphy. Nevin gave us the prefect canvas for some beautiful hair and makeup. Her hair is swept away from her face to show off those big beautiful eyes with neutral makeup. DV Lauren used clip in extensions to give Nevin more length and fullness.

Rachel works in catering at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Hotel in Dana Point, so you can imagine how honored we were when she called Design Visage for her wedding hairstyle….every week-end Rachel sees the hair and make-up for all the brides….and she chose us…yipee

Sheri Wade Photography did amazing work…….

I love Rachel’s style…look at the fantastic bow with color and bling….love love it!!

Wedding Hairstyle:

  • Lauren was Rachel’s Design Visage artist….they decided to create a romantic half up half down hairstyle
  • This style is most successful if you have thick hair….and Rachel has wonderful hair
  • Lauren curled the entire back with a 1 1/2 iron and set it. After the hair was cool, Lauren lightly placed the hair in a tosseled natural look
  • The very important front was softly pulled back and lightly pinned to create a soft look and shows off Rachel’s lovely face

Melody Walker of Events by Melody Walker organized the day and as always it went off with a hitch…..It is so nice when we work wilth wedding coordinators….the wedding always runs so smoothly and the brides is always on time….  Rachel took advantage of our “Borrow a Veil” service and save a lot of cash…..


The wedding was at the beautiful Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna….This Hotel is RIGHT on the sand and has the most amazing view and sunset….if you are looking for a location for your wedding…check it out.

All I can say is Wow! I had an amazing experience with Design Visage. The price was VERY reasonable, especially being able to borrow a veil(for a bride on a budget, this was AMAZING)

Lauren was my artist and was such a pleasure to work with. I have a permanent straightener on my hair which does not allow my hair to hold any kind of style ever….but Lauren made it happen. My hair held up with curls! all night…All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful, even my maid of honor who was insistent on doing her own hair quickly changed her mind when she saw Lauren’s work.

Thank you so much for making me and all my girls look beautiful on the wedding day!

I will be recommending Design Visage!
