I would have to say…this is the hairstyle of 09. So many of our lovely brides have chosen this side pony bridal hairstyle. The great thing is that is looks good with all hair color and type.

Pelican Hill/Wedding Hair and Make-Up/Victor Sizemore Photography

The new Pelican Hill venue did not disappoint. We waited a few years for it to open, and it is a beauty. Christine and …..chose Pelican Hill, along with a wonderful team of professionals: Kerrie Underhill of Platinum Weddings to coordinate, Victor Sizemore Photography, Elysium Productions for the movie, and yours truly Design Visage for the beauty.

Christine and her Design Visage artist Lauren decided on a very dramatic eye….since Christine is in the beauty business herself, she was not afraid of drama. so it was for the wedding make-up elegant and sexy.

I love technology, we are facebook freinds with all Christine’s vendors and Victor posted a shot even before Christine walked down the isle for all of us to see. Big change from the days…..and not so long ago, that it would take months….I mean months if ever to see our lovely brides photos.0043T_Moore

Christine looks soooo cute here

Can You Tell a Brides Personality By Her Shoes?

Been in business for 24 years…blogging just over 24 days. LOVE IT! I have put off learning or even understanding the reason blogging for 24 months. Who would want to read my diary…more importantly who’s diary do I want to read! Turns out everyone, well not everyone but lots and lots. In the 24 years of business I have had some good business friendships with soooo many in the wedding industry. Turns out…I really did not know them very well. I have learned and become so much closer to so many of my favorite wedding artists, and met many new ( to me), and I now get the opportunity to see as often as I want their latest work. I can even appreciate our competitions work….

So in grabbing some of our brides photos from the photographers blogs to add to our Design Visage blog…….what caught my eye was the shoes (among other things). Since I, like many others, am shoe crazy, I started a little wedding shoe book and today I am going to show a few to you. But don’t fear, everyday there is a wedding with a new pair of shoes to share. So I suppose this will be an ongoing shoe/show.

Another fantastic 08 wedding…..Stacy and Mike were married at Seven-Degrees in Laguna Beach. If you have not seen this location….check it out. We just loved Stacy…..some brides are just so wonderful. And these photos are lovely…..Victor Sizemore is the artist behind the photos. The Kevin Covey team of coordinators pulled the day together, this was extra special for Stacy since she and Kevin have been friends for some time.

Stacy has the most beautiful hair….and a lot of it so the obvious choice was to keep it long and flowing. A few hair jewels from Bridalmode and perfection. Make-up was kept soft and natural……just enough to bring out Stacy’s features.

Thanks Stacy for choosing Design Visage….
