Rancho Las Lomas/Wedding Hair and Make-Up/Scott Nelson Photography

Another stunning wedding at Rancho Las Lomas…photographed by my dear old friend Scott Nelson Photography (not that he is old…just dear). Elizabeth, as you will see is a beautiful bride…let’s take a look:

Rancho Las Lomas is one of my favorite locations for a wedding….and Scott Nelson Photography really captured some terrific shots…

Lauren, Elizabeth’s Design Visage artist created the look…

Wedding Hairstyle:

Wow 2009 was the year for the half updo, or you could say half down do. Anyway you look at it…lots of hair on the shoulders. Lauren created this romantic style with a 1 inch iron. She set the hair and then fingered out the curls to look natural. She pinned the sides softly and a side part for the front which adds a bit of elegance….

Wedding Make-Up:

Elizabeth is fair complected (like me) so the brows add much to her look….Lauren defined her brows with a natural brow powder added browns and golds on the lid….a set of lashes and pop the eyes…wow. Add a mauve lip and cheek and you have a stunning natural look for a georgeous blond.

Rancho Las Lomas/Wedding Hair and Make-Up/John Partridge Photography

These are the times it is all worth it…I received this e-mail and it took me a few looks to realize that the wedding was 3 1/2 years ago and Mom still thinks about the service we provided…..read this: WOW

Dear Caren, March 25th 2006 was the date of my daughters wedding.It was held at the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas Estate.Photography was John PartridgeSince it was a large wedding makeup artists and hair artists were sent to the hotel as well as our home. It was a great day and people still comment on how stunning Stephanie looked.Enjoy the pictures from the Stephanie Kanda / Emanuel Pasternack Wedding

I remember Stephanie’s preview….she is a stunning girl and wanted to stand out.

Wedding Make-Up:

Janelle, the Design Visage artist did a smokey grey shadow with lots of lashes…
Lips and cheeks were a heather pink…..

Wedding Hairstyle:

When you look at this style you may not be wowed, but you need to understand that this was when brides were wearing very structured hairstyles…this was so “now” and unique. In fact, I can even tell you how many brides came to us with this photo and wanted the exact same style….

the key to this style is loose loose but with a solid base so it will stay all day
looks easy, although it takes a lot of time to curl each piece of hair and place it in a way that it looks naturally fallen.

We had a brochure with this photo for all of 06 and 07………Look how fantastic the water at Rancho Las Lomas looks as a backdrop for the photo….good choice John Partridge.

Not had to see where Stephanie and Emanuel got their looks…..take a peek at their moms….wow

Rancho Las Lomas, Wedding hair and make-up, JNP Studios

I promised you more Photos of the lovely Laura….and here they are….You will recall her photos were in Style Unveiled L.A…………….. Rancho Las Lomas is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding, you will recall these other brides that were married at Rancho Las Lomas. Thank you Jeffrey Neal of JNP Studios for the photos:

Wedding Hair:

* Laura’s hair was curled with a 1″ iron in medium size sections and pinned in curles all over Laura’s head. This is for staying power

* After her wedding make-up was applied, the curls were taken down and Lauren, Laura’s Design Visage artist ran her fingers through the hair to give it a soft and natural look

* Spray Spray Spray….we use a terrific spray by Alterna. Light, but efficient.

Wedding Make-up:

* Lauren used a mineral make-up foundation with an SPF of 15, no sunburn on the wedding day, followed by a loose mineral powder and rose blush

* Laura’s eye shadow were a pallet of brown, golds and a touch of rose. A waterproof chocolate liner, black mascara and a few individual lashes to create the eye.

* Lips were a deep natural lip liner covering the entire lip with a “sweetie” gloss on top. This kept Laura picture perfect, even after the “kiss”

Look how cute, they are about to see each other for the first time all dressed up…

I think this is one of the most beautiful wedding bouquets I have ever seen. Laura who was your florist?

A Rancho Las Lomas Angle/Wedding Hair and Make-Up/Palos Studios

Some brides and their family leave a lasting impression here at Design Visage. Lisa, her mom Toni and friends came to us many times prior to the wedding for pre wedding beauty. Facials, tans, body wraps. They were such a pleasure to have in the salon. Sometimes you hear that the vendors can not wait until a wedding is over….well this was just the opposite for DesignVisage. We know we will not be seeing the girls as often as before…..well enough about that …let’s get on with the details. First I must thank Palos Studio for the stunning photos…thank you thank you….secondly Jill Watson of the Pampered Bride. Do we just love when Jill organizes the brides day…..everything perfect….thank you thank you, and the location, well it does not get much better than Rancho Las Lomas. if you have not seen this location, do yourself a favor and do a look/see….simply beautiful.

Lisa is such a kind, gracious girl. She has this incredible natural curly dark hair, so it was a no brainer that Heather ( Lisa’s Design Visage artist) went with her hair and chose a bridal hairstyle that complimented the natural beauty of her hair. I do believe it was the right choice……

Now make-up was another thing…..Lisa is one of those lucky girls that can carry off a bit more color and it looks as if it were meant to be. The color of the year….eggplant, was the shadow color, with a strong rose lip, and blush to accent. And as you can see, Lisa has perfect skin and a contagious smile…..so how could we go wrong.

Rancho Las Lomas has the most beautiful areas for photography…

It’s been a good year for the USC band, I have seen them at more weddings than on TV this year!!!
