 Bridal Hairstyle:

  • Leanne has a lot of soft fine hair and she wanted to wear it in a half updo, so Dana her Design Visage artist curled all her hair and softly pinned pieces up on the side.
  • Dana finger brushed the curls and added fresh flowers, 2 on one side and one on the other..beautiful

Bridal Make-up:

  •  To bring out Leanne’s pretty brown eyes, Dana applied soft plums in a contour and on the lid, a little shimmer on the brow bone with a cream tone
  • Lips and blush were a rosy rose tone, this accuented Leanne’s lovely skin tone….just enough is the key

Next Exit Photography/Wedding Hair and Make-Up/Leanne and Jeff

I have to share this photo with you…..we are so excited for Leanne and Jeff’s wedding this week-end in Beverly Hills. Leanne is one of the nicest people you could meet. And we had a great time when she and her mom came in  Design Visage for the preview a few weeks ago. Mom, like moms  sang all Leanne’s praises….she was a professional ballerina……and she can prove it……

Next Exit Photography/Wedding Hair and Make-up

Are you ready to see the rest of the day….me too. Next Exit Photography really rocked this wedding….the photos are just fantastic. Eva and Brinton ( wow 2 great names…wonder what the baby’s name will be)

As you will recall Design Visage did a modern version of vintage for Eva’s wedding hair and a classic bridal make-up….O yes we also make-up all the girlies.

yes it is official, purple is the name of the game in 09……I was on my way to Mac school, not the make-up, the computer and I passed by Z Gallery, I noticed all the new accessories in shades of purple. Could it be that our brides created the craze….Hum.

Oops maybe this photo was in yesterdays post…but the colors that Next Exit Photography captured are worth seeing again.

Rancho de Cielo/Wedding Hair and Make-up/Eva and Brinton

Michelle, Design Visage hair and make-up artist for Eva called me on her way home from Rancho de Cielo and said ” her bridal hairstyle was a masterpiece”. So I could not wait to see the photos. Fortunately Eva’s photographer was Next Exit…for 2 reasons….one…they rock and two because they are so kind to get all of us (the vendors) the photographs very fast so we can tell our stories. Thank you Thank you

Eva requested a vintage wedding hair and make-up look , which went perfectly with her location Rancho de Ciel  let’s look:

If you have not seen Rancho de Cielo….check it out, it just may be the perfect location for your wedding.

Eva’s look:

Wedding Hair:

  • Michelle  from Design Visage used a 1 1’4″ iron for setting the back of her hair while using a 1″ iron for the front.
  • she fingured the front curls and softly pinned them back
  • the back was just an artist at work…creating the vintage, modern look

ebww_11

Wedding Make-up:

  • Eva’s flawless skin required very little make-up….just a dash
  • To bring out the BLUE in Eva’s eyes Michelle used natural tone with a dominate liner and lashes, lashes, lashes..it worked, look at those blue eyes.
  • Blush was a very soft pink with matching gloss..perfect.

and don’t forget the waterproof mascara….

Can You Tell a Brides Personality By Her Shoes?

Been in business for 24 years…blogging just over 24 days. LOVE IT! I have put off learning or even understanding the reason blogging for 24 months. Who would want to read my diary…more importantly who’s diary do I want to read! Turns out everyone, well not everyone but lots and lots. In the 24 years of business I have had some good business friendships with soooo many in the wedding industry. Turns out…I really did not know them very well. I have learned and become so much closer to so many of my favorite wedding artists, and met many new ( to me), and I now get the opportunity to see as often as I want their latest work. I can even appreciate our competitions work….

So in grabbing some of our brides photos from the photographers blogs to add to our Design Visage blog…….what caught my eye was the shoes (among other things). Since I, like many others, am shoe crazy, I started a little wedding shoe book and today I am going to show a few to you. But don’t fear, everyday there is a wedding with a new pair of shoes to share. So I suppose this will be an ongoing shoe/show.
