Design Visage and Alterna

A few months ago Design Visage and Hair care company Alterna teamed up for a outstanding hair event. Hair Affair..  We rewarded each customer with a treatment masque and some quick easy styling tips that will take you from “office to evening” in no time. There were complimentary treatments that took all our loyal DV clients to Extraordinary.

Fun was had by all…..and everyone left with terrific hair.

Jenny and Bryan

Jenny came into our office without much hope. She had already gone to 3 other previews and had not been happy. Which is so foreign to Design Visage, we work with the bride on the preview until she is happy…well I guess that is why so few brides cancel after our preview. So Jenny saw a picture of a bride we had done on the Knot, and decided to give us a try.

On the preview the artist and Jenny tried a few different hairstyles. All up, all down and the final winner half up and half down. Just like trying on different styles of dresses, it is important to try your hair up and down to see what it best on you and how you want to see yourself in the pictures on your wall for the next 20 years. Many brides ask if it is necessary to have a preview, I suppose to save money. Well it is certainly possible, but to me a bit crazy. A wedding day is not the time to be deciding how you want your hair and make-up!

Jenny and Bryan were married at the beautiful Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar. Their photographer was Eric Slay. And most importantly, a few months after the wedding, Jenny came to Design Visage for a facial. We started talking and Design Visage hired Jenny to do our accessories site Bridalmode. Jenny is very talented and with much patience taught me much about technology. Check her out at Well-United ….I highly recommend her company. Thanks Jenny for letting Design Visage be a part of your wedding.

The Lovely Ashley

Ashley Allyn was married on July 19th at the beautiful St Regis Laguna Beach in Dana Point. As you will see by the photos Ashley selected a natural classic look for both her wedding hairstyle and bridal make-up….good choice

Teisha Plante

Teisha was married July 18th, 2008 at the El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano. What a wonderful bride to help look beautiful. Teisha was a very calm bride even on the wedding day…..just a happy girl excited to marry the man of her dreams. “>

Teisha has incredible skin, very fair, with black hair. For her bridal make-up look we used smokey greys and plums on her eyes…sultry and a subtle red on the lips….what a combo.

For the bridal hairstyle we added hair extensions to Teisha’s half up half down do! It’s amazing that no one can tell. Thanks Teisha for choosing Design Visage for your beauty services.
