Tattoo Brides

I just came across this great site…..off beat brides….I love it….so many fun fun brides and looks, we do not see much of this in the O.C., although if you are a future bride and love one of these looks and plan to do an offbeat look….please call Design Visage,  The first one to call, we will do your hair and make-up free….yes free.

I remember years ago, more than 20 when a bride had a tattoo, she would quietly ask us to cover it. And it was typically about the size of a quarter…or a bit bigger….wow have times changed. Now it is part of the bridal look……..take a look at this art:

How fun was that? The creativity on the bridal hair and make-up was interesting, and great to see that we are not all alike…..viva la difference!!

Roya and Jeff….Romance

What a beautiful girl Roya…..she married Jeff May 23rd at the incredible St Regis Hotel in Monarch Beach. I Would like thank Jenny from Red Loft Studios for capturing these memorable photos of the day.

Lauren was Roya’s Design Visage artist. We had the pleasure of seeing Roya many times prior to the wedding. For the engagement photos, a engagement party and she had Lauren cut her hair and condition it so it was healthy and shinny for the wedding….it certainly shows.

Roya is a lovely girl with all the natural beauty you could desire. To enhance that, Lauren added some extensions to her hair and eyelashes. The  bridal make-up choice was natural eyes, some deep rusty tones with browns to bring out Roya’s amazingly large eyes and to top it off, a bold lip color….just perfect.fohrw_2005

Fantastic Hair Decor

We had a great time with this photo shoot. The wonder Steve from Forever Photography was behind the camera, and the lovely Lauren was the talent in front of the camera…..by the way she also did the hair and make-up!! Previews…Previews…Previews

Another day of previews. So many people tell us we have the best job in the world. And in many ways I do agree. We get to help a girl/woman choose how she will wear her hair, what color best accents her lips, and what shadows will bring out the best feature we have, our eyes. How can we accent our features without looking over done, how to look classic and natural and glamorous all at the same time. Previews are the most challenging of our job, but what a privilege to be chosen for such an important occasion.

Let’s look at some of Design Visage’s fantastic brides 09. The first photo here is make-up only.

So many different bridal make-up and hair choices. We thank all our brides for choosing Design Visage and Bridalmode accessories for their bridal beauty.
