This is an extra fun post for me…it has several layers of fun. First I want to share the thank you Shanna wrote to Dana (her Design Visage artist).

Dana did a wonderful job on my hair and make-up. Throughout the evening several people commented that I looked like the Estee Lauder Bridal Model…..

Wow….actually when I see the wedding hair and make-up that you chose, I do believe I agree. Let’s see the fabulous photos of John and Max Mills Photography .

Shanna called earlier this year and said that her friend was married 9 years ago and Dana from Design Visage was the artist, and asked if by chance Dana was still with us….and yes our lovely talented Dana has been helping brides look fantastic for over 12 years with Design Visage……….check out Bridalmode for hair flowers like Shanna’s

So now let’s chat about how Shanna met her handsome man. Shanna’s father (who by the way looks like Clint Eastwood) took the family dog to the local Vet. This is where he saw this man that he knew was perfect for Shanna. So Shanna took her cat in, she immediately saw what dad was talking about. They chatted and Shanna noted that …..loved to surf. So now the cat was fine so what to do. Fortunately Shanna writes for the local paper, she did an article on surfing and how she would love to learn…..low and behold, he called. A romance was born, but it was not until a few years later that ..taught Shanna to surf. But shes not complaining.

Shanna….you did good girl…….

Wedding hair style:

This is one of my favorite looks….the classic Breakfast at Tiffanys, Audrey Hepburn beauty. This style is created with  very smooth hair that is pinned and then fanned.

Wedding Make-Up:

With this look Dana used several shades of neutrals, for the eyes lips and cheeks. The result, a very natural look, although don’t be fooled that natural means light make-up, it means natural tones applied for depth and light…..a fantastic classic look….see for yourself

The last part of this fun story is August 15 of this year, we had the pleasure of beautifying Shanna for her wedding and then I got to do her make-up on October 17th for her good friend Mary’s wedding in Lake Arrowhead…and yes Dana was the Design Visage artist for Mary (photos to come)
