Another week of fun brides…..seems like all the 09 brides have decided to get married in the second part of the year.

Are you tired of the previews? I never tire of the fun that hair and make-up can create.  I mentioned that the preview is the most challenging part of our job, but it is also one of the most scariest part of a brides wedding. So many brides come to the preview very cautious and nervous….I believe it is for a few reasons…1. Everyone has seen the bride that you do not even recognize at the wedding….who wants to be the bride that as she is walking down the isle many of the guests think they are at the wrong wedding. 2. The bride has been planning this moment since she was 5, and the hair and make-up are a very important part of the day…seems silly but you know if you hair looks good you feel good! And the photos on the wall for the next 20 years…you do not want to always look at them as say to yourself…what was I thinking? 3. Many brides are a bit intimidated by the artist, afraid this stylist is going to do something crazy on her and then not be able to say what you like and don’t like…thinking how you can do a quick getaway without causing a scene.

The Design Visage artists know all these concerns are are there for you without any ego but with loads of talent.

Previews…Previews…Previews

Another day of previews. So many people tell us we have the best job in the world. And in many ways I do agree. We get to help a girl/woman choose how she will wear her hair, what color best accents her lips, and what shadows will bring out the best feature we have, our eyes. How can we accent our features without looking over done, how to look classic and natural and glamorous all at the same time. Previews are the most challenging of our job, but what a privilege to be chosen for such an important occasion.

Let’s look at some of Design Visage’s fantastic brides 09. The first photo here is make-up only.

So many different bridal make-up and hair choices. We thank all our brides for choosing Design Visage and Bridalmode accessories for their bridal beauty.

One thing all these brides have in common….they all look very natural, and when they have the wedding dress on….the look will be even more subtle. That’s the plan…you but better!!!

Previews…Previews…Previews

Wow we are truly in bridal season. Lots of preview pictures and difficult to get photos from the photographers….they are busy too. So let’s see what our brides are up to. Fun to see what bridal make-up and wedding hairstyles they choose. Remember this is the preview….only looks half as good as on the day. The reason is that the artists do not put as much product in the hair, so they can change styles, and make-up, often we try different colors on the eyes to see which will pop the eye color and look the best.

 

This is Kristen, she is getting married this week-end at the Surf and Sand. Her photographer is Lauren Hillary…so we will have some great pics. You may recognize Kristen, we did her sister Jennifer’s wedding in March.

 

 

 

 

This is Mary….we did Mary’s wedding last year. We see Mary often for cut and color services, and this was a fun 1940’s event that we had the pleasure of making Mary shine.

Wow we have the best brides…..it has been such a fun year so far. It’s been a while since we featured some of our bridal hair and make-up previews. Some choose bridal updo’s, some half updo’s and some all down…..let’s take look at some of Design Visage’s beautiful brides.

 

 

 

Both these lovely girls look fantastic with or without make-up but how incredible they will look on the wedding day. Each bride is wearing a hair piece from our Bridalmode collection.
