Rancho Las Lomas/Casey Larae Photography/Wedding Hair and Makeup

I love digital photos…...Design Visage did Heather’s wedding  just over a week ago and the wonderful Casey Larae sent these amazing images of our stunning bride.

It does not hurt that Heather is beautiful and has an great sense of style. Paired with Design Visage Lauren…this is a hot look.

Wedding hairstyle:

Heather chose that ever so popular side style. Design Visage Lauren outdid herself on this one. First she curled all Heather’s hair with a 1 inch iron. She added some clip in hair extensions for fullness. She then created a base by putting part of Heather’s hair in a rubber band to the side. The final touches were adding the rest of the hair in loose pieces around the base, leaving lots of hair out and tousled.

Wedding Makeup:

Heather has that bold style and it shows in her choice of wedding makeup. Lauren helped Heather create a sexy smoky eye with shades of grey and gold, topping it off with red lips. Heather looks amazing.

As you know if you read our blog, Rancho Las Lomas is one of Design Visage‘s favorite wedding locations. Just look at all the photo opportunities, along with one of the most romantic settings in the O.C…..and you get to work with one of my favorite wedding peeps Nili of Rancho Las Lomas

Bridal Hairstyles for 2011

2010 was all about the side bun, wheather it was smooth or messy. You will continue to see this style in 2011, although Bridal Hairstyles for 2011 is all about vintage modern. Rita Hayworth, Veronica Lake and Audrey Hepburn would be proud to see their photos in the 2011 brides beauty wish book.

Let’s not forget the sexy beach waves, with a braid or two

Wedding Hair and Makeup/

Last summer we had the pleasure of meeting Amber and helping her and all her girls look fantastic on the wedding. It was beautifully coordinated by Sophia of Les Belles Affaires and we received the amazing photos from Visual Masterpiece. And of course with Design Visage stylist Georgia, Amber had a great team.

Wedding Make up: Amber chose a clean eyeshadow with creams and charcoal and thin black gel liner and loads of lashes. DV Georgia topped off the look with a soft pink blush and ice pink lips. With Amber’s dark hair it was a hit.

Wedding Hairstyle: Amber went with the sexy down do with one day extensions to add body and fullness to the total look. DV Georgia curled the extensions with a flat iron to give a natural beach curl. She then set Amber’s hair and let it cool to have her hair maintain the curl. The extensions were then clipped into Amber’s hairline, Georgia ran her hands through both the extensions and natural hair, and poof an amazing natural sexy down hairstyle that will last all day

Hair jewels are carefully secured and Amber is ready for one of the best days of her life

And I believe they had a great day.

Rancho Las Lomas/Wedding Hair and Make-up/John Partridge Photography

Nicole….what a stunning bride. I love that Nicole went with a bolder look on her eyes and lips, she wears it well.

Dosen’t hurt that Nicole had a great photographer….John Partridge. The location Rancho Las Lomas is also one of Design Visage’s favorite locations for weddings. If you have not seen it, take a look….Rancho Las Lomas.

Lauren, Nicoles Design Visage artist had so much fun with her bridal look.

Bridal Hairstyle:

I would call this a classic messy updo, although not too messy. Lauren curled all of Nicole’s hair in a large iron and then placed each piece in place, without it looking organized.

Bridal Make-Up

Lauren and Nicole decided on a bold lip, a great red, and smokey eyes. Not everyone can pull off this look, but Nicole has the perfect features.

The red lips to accompany the red shoes.

I think this is my favorite photo, lot’s of personality.

Nicole and Brian are such a beautiful couple.

Design Visage Heather Gets Married

So fun when one of our Design Visage girls gets married, although this is bitter sweet since Heather is moving away and will only be here for a few weddings this year….Booo. But seems the Design Visage girls leave, but they always return.

Lauren did an amazing bridal hair and make-up look on Heather. Take a look:

It was fun hearing about all the details while Heather was planning….although you never really until you see it…..beautiful. Heather planned this wedding in less than 2 months. It was perfect.

Lauren had fun with Heather’s wedding make-up. Since Heather is a hair and make-up artist, she is very comfortable with a dramatic look:

* As you can see this look is all about the lashes. I believe they have two strips on each eye. It looks so romantic.

* The shadow is very smokey, with hews of plums and greys. Perfect for Heather’s blue eyes.

* Eyes and Lips are a soft tone of corals to blend with the fantastic flowers on her dress

 

Wedding hairstyle:

* Heather’s retro hairstyle was created with a few wefts of hair extensions and a creative team of Lauren and Heather.

* Many brides would not be comfortable with such a large hairstyle, but not Heather, she loved it.

*Lauren created a smooth updo with large irons and a smoothing comb.

I actually attneded this wedding and it was amazing. Thanks to Heather’s Cousin Amelia Lyon Photography for the awesome photos. Heather also took advantage of the Design Visage “borrow a veil” and she found all the hair accessories on Bridalmode.
