Fantastic Hair Decor

We had a great time with this photo shoot. The wonder Steve from Forever Photography was behind the camera, and the lovely Lauren was the talent in front of the camera…..by the way she also did the hair and make-up!! Bride and Groom have the exact same name

I saw this on Yahoo yesterday and MUST document is story. So Funny.

Meet the bride ..Kelly Hidelbrant, and meet the groom Kelly Hidelbrant!!! Yes it is true Read the story of how this happened.

It’s been a whirlwind romance for the guy and gal who share the same name, and it all started with an innocent Facebook message.

“She started off ‘Hey, I saw we have the same name,and I thought it was kind of cool, Just wanted to say hi I guess. LOL,’” the male Kelly said.

Kelly the female, from Coral Springs, was curious to see profiles of people with the same name when she happened across Kelly the male in Lubbock, Texas.

“I searched my own name and he’s the only one who came up and actually in the picture he didn’t have a shirt on and I was like oh he’s cute,” said the female Kelly.

Three weeks later, male kelly flew to South Florida to meet female Kelly, and they hit it off immediately.

And now in just three months, the Hildebrandts will officially be married.

“We get a couple of the same reactions, usually it’s like ‘whoa, that’s so awesome and totally different,’” said female Kelly, 20.

Male Kelly, 24, has moved down to Florida and plans on working at the new branch for his company, Primerica Financial. Female Kelly is finishing up her studies at Palm Beach Community College.

The wedding will be at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club in October, a quick turnaround — just eight months after the two first met – though male Kelly has no reservations.

“I felt like there was a good possibility that before I ever came out to meet her in person, that this could be the girl I’m gonna marry,” he said.

The marriage won’t be without problems. In fact, one problem has already presented itself before the two have even stepped foot on the altar.

“He’s even already got some mail coming in, and we have to open everything, because we don’t know whose mail is whose,” said female Kelly.

 And I always thought it was funny one of our Design Visage artists Georgia ,is married to George!!

Megan and Travis..I think they had dance class

October 4th Megan and Travis tied the knot. We have to thank Jonathan West Photography for the very fun photos. Some weddings just look like they were so fun, and this is one of them. I believe Megan and Travis had the best time. Let’s take a peek.

 

 

 I love love Megan’s wedding hairstyle. Her Design Visage artist Lauren designed a piece of art. An intricately woven style with a loose romantic feel. Adorned with hair jewels by Bridalmode. Megan chose a perfect color hair jewel. A pin with a multi color spray….pearls, crystals, amber crystals, and warm gold and silver combo wire. This brings out the color in her hair and skin tone…..yea Megan.

oooh look the gang is getting ready for the big show….dont’ faint anyone.

Now this is what I am saying……for sure dance lessons….how much fun are they having at their wedding…this is what it is all about!

Previews…Previews…Previews

Are you tired of the previews? I never tire of the fun that hair and make-up can create.  I mentioned that the preview is the most challenging part of our job, but it is also one of the most scariest part of a brides wedding. So many brides come to the preview very cautious and nervous….I believe it is for a few reasons…1. Everyone has seen the bride that you do not even recognize at the wedding….who wants to be the bride that as she is walking down the isle many of the guests think they are at the wrong wedding. 2. The bride has been planning this moment since she was 5, and the hair and make-up are a very important part of the day…seems silly but you know if you hair looks good you feel good! And the photos on the wall for the next 20 years…you do not want to always look at them as say to yourself…what was I thinking? 3. Many brides are a bit intimidated by the artist, afraid this stylist is going to do something crazy on her and then not be able to say what you like and don’t like…thinking how you can do a quick getaway without causing a scene.

The Design Visage artists know all these concerns are are there for you without any ego but with loads of talent.

Previews…Previews…Previews

Another day of previews. So many people tell us we have the best job in the world. And in many ways I do agree. We get to help a girl/woman choose how she will wear her hair, what color best accents her lips, and what shadows will bring out the best feature we have, our eyes. How can we accent our features without looking over done, how to look classic and natural and glamorous all at the same time. Previews are the most challenging of our job, but what a privilege to be chosen for such an important occasion.

Let’s look at some of Design Visage’s fantastic brides 09. The first photo here is make-up only.

So many different bridal make-up and hair choices. We thank all our brides for choosing Design Visage and Bridalmode accessories for their bridal beauty.

One thing all these brides have in common….they all look very natural, and when they have the wedding dress on….the look will be even more subtle. That’s the plan…you but better!!!
