Engagement Beauty…Krysta

Let me introduce Krysta Erickson. Her day is August 2nd 09. She and her mom Pam have been regulars at Design Visage lately for skin care services and make-up application for this engagement photo session. Photographer Jack Randall caught these special moments. Location for the upcoming wedding Marriott Newport Beach.

We love Krista and Pam…they are very special to the Design Visage family.

The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.

Too cute…Jenn at Arroyo Trabuco

March 21st, 2009 we did a wedding with a fantastic group of professionals. Jenn and Marc joined their love at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. Kerrie Underhill ( I really think she should change it to Underwood!) of Platinum Weddings did the coordination and the very talented and kind photographer Amy Squires took the photos. I love these pictures. Heather and Michelle were the Design Visage artists, and lets not forget The Fry Girl. I mean little fresh hot donuts to take away at the end of the night…..could it be any better.

Heather used a few hair extensions to add fullness and a bit of length. Many hairstyles look best with a bit of added hair…don’t worry no one is the wiser.

The DV girls did make-up and hair on all the bridesmaids….do you have to be cute to be a friend of Jenn?

This next picture is of Jenn and her sister Kristine….Kristine is getting married July 18th at the Surf and Sand….we are excited to be a part of her wedding as well. Of course pictures will be posted.

The Stunning Stacy

September 7th, 2008 Stacy was married at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. What a beautiful girl.

The stunning photographs were taken by Vanessa Preziose Photography

Lauren, Stacy’s artist helped her with a classic look. A light smoky eye with natural lips and her lovely blond hair pulled off her face….you can see what a good choice it was.

Stacy has become a part of the Design Visage family, she comes in to see Lauren for hair services.

What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are, but how you deal with incompatibility.

You have to see this……Cake in the face!

Keeli and Chris did it….on April 4th at the Hyatt Huntington Beach….they tied the knot. Jill Watson did all the organization, Design Visage made all the girlies beautiful and R and R Creative Photography captured all the moments and I mean ALL the moments..you will get my drift when you look a little further. Take a look……

Adrienne was the fabulous Design Visage artist for Keeli. She did have help from Michelle to get all the girls and mom looking fantastic. Keeli chose to have a half up hairstyle with color on the eyes and lips. Yea…..

Anyone who reads my blogs or knows me……can see that I am all about the shoes. I think one day I will do a blog story on just brides shoes….what do you think?

Here is one of the most important persons of the day….MOM. Many moms are timid about having their hair and make-up done on the wedding day……If you have the correct artist/company, mom will look natural but better. And she needs to look good in all the photographs that will on the wall for the next 20 years!

So this is what you have been waiting to see….I have not seen this in many years. Keeli must be a very understanding girl…but wait the last photo is the groom throwing cake at the guests….David the photographer said the best man got it right in the face. Wow what a memory for the couple.

Looks like a good time was had by all

A marriage is a gift. It should be opened up and enjoyed.

So excited to see Patty

This is a particular special blog…it is about my dear friend Patty. Patty and I met at the Gym a few year back…her body is a much better poster for exercise than mine, never the less in spin class we met. It was so exciting to see Patty when she first met Bob. They met on the Internet and Patty carried a copy of the profile photo of Bob in her purse. It was meant to be and soon there was a wedding in the plans. I had such a great time with Patty looking for the right gown. When it came time to discuss bridal day beauty……non other that Design Visage. There is a lot of pressure when your friend comes to your company to look fantastic. But I was confident we would not disappoint….look for yourself….

These 2 lovely ladies are Patty’s daughters Rachel and Taylor

And here we are the gym friends giving a toast to our dear friend Patty and her new man Bob

It was a beautiful backyard wedding with good friends, food and drink…..we all love you Patty and are so happy you found a good man like Bob.

Marriage is not a noun; it’s a verb. It isn’t something you get. It’s something you do. It’s the way you love your partner every day.
